Opinionaided - App

If, like me, you have an innate desire to give people advice and help them with any kind of issue going, then the Opinionaided app for smart phones is wonderful!

People all over the world ask questions regarding anything that is troubling them, or even things they are just curious about...I've even been asked my opinion on a band they like.  All you have to do is answer them with a thumbs up/down and a comment if you wish.

If the person who asked the question likes your answer, they will give you a star...you then build these stars up to gain a reputation.

You can also filter the questions you receive as, with everything, there is a down side to the questions submitted on this app...some people post pictures of themselves and ask "Smash of pass?" - I try and avoid these as it's not particularly something I like to answer.  Sometimes I give them a thumbs up to boost their self-esteem but other times I just click 'neutral'.

Every now and again, if you get into a conversation with someone, you can add them (or they add you) as a friend.  Then, when they ask a question, it immediately directs to you as a priority.

It's just a bit of fun and a nice social-network app/site that differs from the usual Twitter and Facebook pages.

Christmas Trees

Yesterday, Rob and I bought our first real Christmas tree for our first real house together!!

It is currently supping up some water from a bucket in the conservatory...we're not putting it up till tomorrow morning as we are worried about acting too soon and the whole tree drying out before Santa comes.

If anyone has any cheeky tips on how to look after a Christmas tree, I would be very grateful - however, if you yourself are after some tips, I have found a marvellous little website that offers great advice on getting the best results out of your tree's life:
